I creeped around the parking lot after I heard there was a C7 lurking about. I found it. Damn, that's a pretty car! A couple more pics after the jump.
Also, if you're wondering who your dream girl is, I met her yesterday. Here's the link: !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!

That car's future is rife with door dings :-(

I, too, was shocked that he parked it there. If he goes up another half level, there are PLENTY of spots that you can take with little to no risk of getting dinged.

You really think we're interested in pictures of the C7 of this whole story?
Yes, yes we are. But you got the idea anyway.

The best I can do. I'm not going to go full stalker/pimp and put the girl's pictures on the internet. That would be just as creepy as me trying to nonchalantly taking the pictures of her without being noticed. lol

Ahahah. I agree with you, just kidding.
I think it's creepy already when I take pictures of awesome cars I see. Taking pictures of random people is way to creepy to even consider.
Unless they're assholes, then you can take pictures to shame them.

I'm not going to go jump out of my truck in traffic for a quick pic, but this was benign. I understand what you're saying, though.
And yes, pics of random strangers is wrong.

Damn C7s are nice the only two I've seen were in front of F40 Motorsport one in Lime Rock Green and the other was red.

Not what I was thinking, but makes sense. Probably the same design as half the other parking garages in Houston, and I've probably been in this one too.

Not a fan of these wheels. I like the fork-spoke ones. I also think the car needs to be lowered a tad from the factory, I understand the practicality and I absolutely loathe this 'Stance Nation' shit, but a slightly lower, more aggressive look could do that car justice.
But maybe I'm wrong. I've never seen the car in the flesh.
On a side note-what's your thought on investing in small cap Telecom, Pat? I'm required to invest in it at the moment, but not happy with what I'm finding. Most companies are undervalued, mostly because they perform like shit.

In the flesh, they look good. I saw my first one in the wild on Sunday (white, driving in the opposite direction), my second yesterday. If you lowered it, it would be MAX one inch. It's pretty close to the ground as is.
Honestly, I don't follow small caps. 95% of my clients are either moderate or moderately conservative investors, so they are generally in large cap and bigger mid cap stocks in their portfolios. If I dip into small caps, it's through a mutual fund or an ETF (about 3-5% of their portfolio). Small caps are just a small step up from penny stocks, so I usually don't follow them much. And why are you being forced into small cap telecom?!

Understandable. Where I'm from, I see more Continental GT's an 911's than Mustangs or Corvettes.
The club I'm a part of is required to invest in small cap stocks, where we mostly look for undervalued and high growth investments. We use the GARP philosophy (Growth At the Right Price). We have a $1M fund to invest that is part of the schools endowment. I'm head of our Telecom sector, so that's what I'm stuck with for the rest of the semester. I assume I'll make a case for switching to industrials in February. My guy over at GS says it's shit to make a case for a small cap Telecom company. They all either miss earnings or do well, then get bought out by the big players. I'm hoping for the latter with this one.

The big investment firm with a bull on their logo has small cap stock screen that they sometimes run for clients. Call the local branch, ask to speak to the "broker of the day" and be honest: "I don't want to waste your time, but could you please e-mail me some of your firm's best ideas for telecom small caps for a school project?"
Also, can you engage in options instead of being long (shorting the stock as opposed to owning it)?

Interesting idea. I have access to research reports and watch lists through my personal PM at a Chicago HQ'd asset management firm. Unfortunately, we cannot. Our contract with the school (our client) states that we are solely investing, no options allowed. I can't give you a number, but we primarily allocate heavily into small cap. Idea being that we can get the most of our money when investing in companies with high growth propositions.

In a bull market, yes, small caps on average grow faster than large caps (I know I'm preaching to the choir). I looked through my firm's research and couldn't find any small cap telecom companies that we LIKE. I'll look a bit more, though. I might have missed a company or two.

The small cap market has been nuts lately, for that's the same story for every other equity out there not matter the market cap. To me, that means we're headed for a few market corrections, or something worse.
I had my sector pitch yesterday, we were voted down, which is what I was hoping for. In my research, I've concluded that every successful telecom company gets bought out by the big guys once their work is realized. The non-performers are left to either leave the market or continue operating at a loss. I had something in mind that we liked, but that was put on hold since the cap was too high. I assume we'll reallocate out of small caps entering 2014, though. Stormy weather ahead, me fears.
